REVIEW
Okujō no Aru Apāto is about a young woman who has learned maturity and independence when she started living on her own. It's about a person who makes conscious efforts to become a better individual.
Katsuragi Asako has lived aimlessly until she was 27 years old, and she decided to make some changes when a respected colleague advised her that moving out of her parent's house is essential for a person to grow up and become an adult in the real sense of the word.
I suppose it's really a life-altering experience for individuals to live on their own. It requires a lot of responsibility to manage your own finances, and to become solely responsible for all household expenses.
It seems strange that Asako moved into her own apartment when she lost her job because she doesn't have any income to pay for her rent. But perhaps that is one more reason to quickly find any paying job instead of idly waiting for her ideal job.
Katsuragi Asako: Still, any job is better than not working.
I used to think that it is important to do a job you love, and that it's terrible to just accept any job offer. But over time, I realized that it's important to be open to many possibilities, and maybe a work opportunity you didn't think you want is exactly one that you do and you just didn't know it.
