SYNOPSIS
Nemoto Kahoko is a sheltered young lady who relies on her parents for everything. Kahoko can't even do the simplest tasks by herself such as getting up in the morning, choosing her clothes for the day, and preparing her lunch.
REVIEW
Kahogo no Kahoko is an interesting drama about an innocent girl and a jaded guy who incidentally meet each other, and end up changing each other for the better.
It's very difficult to imagine that a Nemoto Kahoko exists in reality, because she's a special case. I mean, I don't think there are a lot of mothers, even though they are full-time housewives, who have to wake up their grown-up children in the morning and pick out the clothes that the adult children will wear for the day.
But when I think about it, I suppose there are a lot of sheltered young individuals nowadays just like Kahoko. For instance, in my part of the world, there are people who don't do any household chores because they have helpers and who don't use public transportation because they hare their own drivers to take them to places.
Kahogo no Kahoko talks about how even though parents don't want their children to suffer and feel pain, it is important to let their children live their own lives. Sometimes, parents may think they are protecting their children but they may be incidentally harming them instead.
