SYNOPSIS
Kim Da Hyun is a simple girl with a pure heart. Da Hyun once helped an elderly gentleman who collapsed, and she claimed that she's the old man's guardian when she brought him to the hospital.
Although dressed simply when he met Da Hyun, the elderly gentleman is actually a very wealthy person who owns a lot of companies. He is extremely pleased with Da Hyun and he tells his grandson Lee Jae In that if he marries Da Hyun, he will inherit everything.
Jae In is a shrewd businessman with an awful personality. He is rude, quick-tempered and conceited. Jae In's grandfather hopes that Da Hyun will be a good influence on him.
Jae In meets up with Da Hyun and they agree to date each other. Although they always argue everytime they are together, the two grew fond of each other.
REVIEW
1% of Anything is an interesting drama about two people who are complete opposites, and how they fell in love after they spent some time together and got to know each other on a deeper level.
But perhaps Lee Jae In and Kim Da Hyun are not too different from each other, because they have the same outlook when it comes to relationships and marriage. I mean, they have the same notion about what it means to be in a committed relationship with someone, and they both think that divorce is not an option to consider when their marriage gets in trouble.
1% of Anything is one of the entertaining Korean dramas I've watched lately, although I feel that the last few episodes were dragging because it went into the melodramatic territory. Still, it's quite a fun watch as a whole, especially if you like romantic themes.
Of course, given that it's a remake of a Korean drama with the same title, I suppose it's inevitable that I'd make comparisons between the two. I like both productions, but I feel that the original version was better.
I don't particularly care for the characters that they added in this drama, and I think it would have been better if they just focused instead on the other characters like Min Tae Ha and Jung Hyun Jin. I liked how in the original drama, it was shown how Tae Ha and Hyun Jin got together and got married.
