SYNOPSIS
Yoon Hyung Woo is from a wealthy background and he never had to be concerned about money. He became a lawyer because he wants to help the needy people find justice.
Lee Eun Jae is a successful lawyer who wants to have financial stability. She doesn't do household chores and she can't cook because she's too focused on her work.
Hyung Woo and Eun Jae meet at a baseball game and they have a whirlwind romance. They get married within a month of meeting each other for the first time. Their relationship was initially sweet and loving, but their marriage slowly began to crack under their constant fights. Within a few months into their married life, they are now in the midst of their divorce proceedings.
REVIEW
Can't Lose talks about a couple's troubles and how hard it is to make a relationship, even a marriage, work. I sometimes wonder if it is really true that 'opposites attract' because well, won't the differences be the source of all the misunderstandings and arguments?
Yoon Hyung Woo and Lee Eun Jae constantly fight with each other but it's not really the case wherein one is right and the other is wrong. Their fights are usually caused by different priorities and career goals (to help needy people find justice versus finding clients that pay to keep the law firm in operation), different characteristics (neat freak versus messy), and different fighting styles (needing to go away to calm down after an argument versus needing to talk out the differences and arrive at a solution to the issues).
Although it took a while, Hyung Woo and Eun Jae managed to work out their differences and they eventually decided that in spite of their many differences, they do love each other and they want to remain married to each other.
