SYNOPSIS
Mr. Children - Hanabi (Firework)The Doctor Helicopter system was legalized in Japan in June 2007. A medical team boards a helicopter and goes to the patients' location to provide medical care as soon as possible.
Four young medical physicians are assigned as Doctor Helicopter trainees at the Emergency Medical Services of the Shoyo University North Hospital.
Aizawa Kosaku is a skilled physician. He is always calm and collected, even in times of great pressure. Kosaku works well alone, and he doesn't really have the cooperative personality necessary to work in teams with other people.
Shiraishi Megumi has excellent medical knowledge, but lacks much practical experience. She is not very assertive, and would follow other people first rather than lead herself.
Hiyama Mihoko is very hardworking. She's very competitive, and she is not afraid of taking risks.
Fujikawa Kazuo is clumsy and makes a lot of mistakes. He has a lot of faults, but he has a good heart.
The four interns learn how the system works, and find out their responsibilities on the job.
