Shruti Kakkar is a college student who works part-time as an assistant to a wedding coordinator. Ambitious and smart, she intends to establish her own wedding planner business in the future. While at work, she catches with her shrewd eye a few individuals who don't seem to be part of the wedding party.

Happy-go-lucky Bitto Sharma usually crashes wedding receptions with friends to eat good food and he is enamored by Shruti, who dances enthusiastically in wedding parties in order to liven up the mood. Bitto tracks her down but she tells him she's only interested in her business plans.

Bitto talks Shruti in becoming business partners and although initially reluctant, Shruti agrees. They establish that they will maintain a professional relationship with each other, and they will not mix business with personal matters. The two then set up their company Shaadi Mubarak.

REVIEW
Band Baaja Baaraat (Soundtrack) - Dum Dum
Band Baaja Baaraat (Soundtrack) - Baari Barsi
Band Baaja Baaraat is a very entertaining movie but my satisfaction with it has less to do with the simple plot, and has more to do with the charming portrayals of the lead actors. I think much of the movie's success can be attributed to the explosive chemistry between the lead actors that translated quite well into their characters.

This is the first time I have watched actress Anushka Sharma in action and although she's not a particularly skilled actress, I find her exceptionally charming and endearing. She's now one of the actresses that I'll keep an eye on, and I'm somewhat personally committed to try to watch her other productions.

I find movies and dramas with good music more memorable, and Band Baaja Baaraat has great songs and fantastic musical productions. I personally love that the dance steps are easy enough for even the most casual dancer to follow.
