SYNOPSIS
बंटी और बबली Bunty Aur Babli - Kajra ReRakesh Trivedi lives in a small village, but he dreams of becoming a successful businessman in the city. When his father orders him to work as a train ticket collector or another similar occupation, Rakesh rebels and leaves town.
Vimmi Saluja lives in another small village, and she dreams of becoming a Miss India in the future. When her parents arrange her marriage to an eligible young man, Vimmi leaves home in order to follow her dreams of being a beauty pageant contestant and title holder.
Rakesh and Vimmi run into each other at a train station, and they become fast friends when they find out that they are quite similar in several ways.
They support each other as they each try to realize their dreams, but they both fail. When Rakesh' ideas were stolen by another aspiring businessman for an investment scheme, Vimmi and Rakesh con some money out of him.
When the two realize how easy it is to con people, they decide to do it to raise money so they can achieve their dreams. Rakesh adopts the name Bunty, and Vimmi takes on the name Babli... and together, Bunty and Babli successfully con people one after another.
REVIEW
Bunty Aur Babli was a fun movie.
However, the only memorable thing about it, in my personal opinion, is the musical production for the song Kajra Re.
