REVIEW
Born Rich is a very interesting documentary about very wealthy people whose respective families earned their wealth in very different ways and about how they grew up with certain privileges. It's also about how these people deal with the knowledge that they have more money than the average person and how they don't really need to work for a living.

It's somewhat disappointing to find several people in the film act very much entitled even though they really did not do anything to earn their respective families' wealth. It's sad that they talk about doing drugs at such a young age so nonchalantly. It's irritating how proud they are of the fact that they have the resources to go to good colleges but waste the opportunity by not studying hard and by not attending classes.

But there are some individuals in the documentary who are obviously trying to make better choices in their lives. I think these people who choose to still work and to contribute something to the society are testament to the fact that there are a wide range of options available to people and you can always make the right choices.

Given their certain privileges, it's obvious that more is expected from them and there's more pressure for them to become 'somebody'. But honestly, when you remove all the trappings of wealth and  famous family  names, these people are just like the average person their age who are trying to make sense of their purpose in life.
