SYNOPSIS
Kim Min Gyu is a lonely person who has to live alone because he is allergic to other people. He has many idiosyncratic mannerisms, because he doesn't interact with other people in social situations.

Santa Maria team is a research and development specializing in robotics, headed by Hong Baek Kyoon. They have developed a humanoid robot named Aji 3, who has the face of Baek Kyoon's ex-girlfriend Jo Ji Ah.

Min Gyu wants to test Aji 3 for a few days, to figure out whether it is a good financial investment or not. Because the testing can't be postponed and due to some problems with Aji 3, Baek Kyoon hires Ji Ah to pretend to be a robot for a few days.

REVIEW
I'm Not a Robot is an interesting drama about human nature, and how we create a family with people willingly (although sometimes not consciously). When we spend time with other people and get to know them, we naturally get attached to them, and grow to expect them to always be part of our lives.

The drama has a lot of shortcomings, especially if you consider the substandard plot, and lack of believable conflict, and the breezing through of the resolution. I personally don't think it's a drama that makes you want to watch it based on its story alone; I mean, the synopsis is hardly compelling.

But what the drama lacks, it more than makes up for it with its lead actors Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin. I'll be honest; I only checked out I'm Not A Robot because of the two promising leads, and I only watched it until the end because of them still.
