SYNOPSIS
Grandfathers Lee Soon Jae, Shin Goo, Park Geun Hyung, and Baek Il Sub travel abroad together.
Lee Seo Jin helps the grandpas in their travels by being their porter, translator, tour guide, and overall person-in-charge.
They go to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and then Greece for the fourth season. This time around, Choi Ji Woo tags along to help Seo Jin assist the four grandpas.
REVIEW
The grandfathers Lee Soon Jae, Shin Goo, Park Geun Hyung, and Baek Il Sub, and Lee Seo Jin are back! Grandpas Over Flowers caught my attention because it is about traveling, and I love traveling!
I thought there wouldn't be any more sequels to 꽃보다 할배 Grandpas Over Flowers, so it was a pleasant surprise that there's another season. I'm honestly confused as to how to categorize the show as I'm not certain how the production staff does it, but I'll consider one trip as one season, and so this trip to Greece is the fourth season.
I think this is my favorite season so far because their guest Choi Ji Woo was with the grandpas and Seo Jin for the whole trip, and she provided a refreshing change in the cast's relationship dynamics.
I like Ji Woo's personality in Grandpas Over Flowers, which is a direct contrast to her glamorous image as a melodramatic actress. I wonder if her variety show persona is closer to her real personality.
