SYNOPSIS
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (Soundtrack) - Thug LeThree wealthy women all over India were conned by the same man. Businesswoman Raina Parulekar talks about her humiliating experience in an interview, and she is later contacted by fellow victims financial heiress Dimple Chaddha, and rich widow Saira Rashid.
These three women get together and they decide to exact revenge to the conman they dub Bloody Kameena or BK, which literally means Bloody Scoundrel. After tracking his current whereabouts, these women engage the services of Ishika, a smart and cunning saleswoman.
Ishika adopts the identity of Ishika Patel, a daughter of a hotel and restaurant tycoon from United States of America. She is in Goa to invest in some local businesses to prove to her father that she has business acumen.
BK approaches Ishika in order to con her, and he introduces himself as Diego Vaz. Unbeknownst to BK, Ishika is actually doing the exact same thing.
REVIEW
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is an easy watch, with a fairly long exposition part and a haphazardly done conclusion. The film expounded on how Ricky Bahl conned three wealthy young women, but then glossed over his supposed redemption in the end by truly falling in love with someone else.
I didn't have much expectations before watching the movie, so I was neither impressed nor disappointed. It was pretty much standard romantic comedy fare, but it's probably more forgettable rather than memorable.
The conman Ricky Bahl is my least favorite character for obvious reasons so I don't really like that he gets his happy ending. It just seems unfair, that's all.
