REVIEW
Uchi no Otto wa Shigoto ga Dekinai is an interesting drama about work; what it means to do your work properly, and what it means to be good at your job. If you can do everything that you're supposed to do at work, does that necessarily mean you are good at your job?
For each job role, there are associated tasks and responsibilities that should be performed. If someone is assigned a certain job role, he should be able to perform all the associated tasks and responsibilities well. I think that's the basic minimum requirement.
Which is why it's certainly amazing that Kobayashi Tsukasa can't seem to do his job properly, so much so that is colleagues call him incompetent behind his back.
Considering that a lot of people have a collective opinion about Tsukasa and his work, it may be time to pay attention to what they say and to look at the situation from their perspective. Tsukasa should probably ask himself why people see him as incompetent, and he should probably ask people he trust at work how he can become competent.
Anyway, in Tsukasa's case, he seems to be such a kind person that he always causes trouble at work. I personally don't buy this dichotomy because it is not an either/or situation; it is possible to be a kind person and to be competent at work at the same time.
His good disposition and kind personality should never have been a liability to his career in the first place. I mean, in any complicated situation, Tsukasa should be concerned with bringing about a win-win outcome for everyone involved; from his colleagues to his clients, from his company to himself, in particular.
