SYNOPSIS
JY - 好きな人がいること
Sakurai Misaki has not dated for a long time because she's too focused on her work as a pâtissierre. When she was suddenly let go from work, she has a difficult time finding a new job.

Misaki runs into Shibasaki Chiaki, someone she used to work with part-time and her first love. Chiaki is a well-known restaurant producer who manages several restaurants. He offers Misaki a temporary position for the summer at one of his restaurants.

Sea Sons is a family restaurant that the Shibasaki brothers inherited from their father. Eldest son Chiaki is the manager, middle son Shibasaki Kanata is the prickly and talented chef, and the youngest son Shibasaki Toma is the happy-go-lucky chef-in-training.

Because Sea Sons is quite far from Tokyo, Chiaki also offered lodging accommodations if Misaki accepts the position. Misaki gladly accepts the opportunity to work and live with her first love Chiaki, but she later finds out that she will also live with his brothers under the same roof.

REVIEW
Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto is an interesting drama about love, at times about romantic love but as a whole about familial love. It talks about what it means to be a family.

I love the relationship between the brothers Shibasaki Chiaki, Shibasaki Kanata, and Shibasaki Toma. They all have very different personalities, but they understand each other and they make allowances for each other's shortcomings. Although they have their misunderstandings, they always wish each other well in the end.

Anyway, I'm not sure what to think about Sakurai Misaki who is purported to have focused on her career that she neglected her love life. She supposedly worked hard all her life so it's a little sad that she remained an ordinary pâtissierre and she wasn't renowned in her field or anything.

But I suppose, that's how it is usually. I mean, everyone works hard in their professional lives, and not everyone gets to become successful in their respective fields. Some people are too focused on work or something else that they neglect their love relationships, and some even don't realize that fact until it's too late, or is it really?!
