SYNOPSIS
It's been one week since the school year has started but first year high school student Yoshioka Yuiko has been staying at home because she's been sick with a terrible cold. She received a call from her class representative Matsubara Shu who tells her about class announcements, and Yuiko liked the sound of his voice.

The next day, Yuiko excitedly goes to school so she can meet the person behind the voice. When she runs into him though, she's surprised that he's wearing a paper bag to hide his face...

REVIEW
Koe Koi is an interesting drama about accepting people for who they really are; and for not putting a lot of value on the way people look, especially if they seem out of ordinary.

Matsubara Shu goes around wearing a paper bag on his head, and although most people are surprised with his appearance, they seem to readily accept him for the way he is. Like what Yoshioka Yuiko said, she's curious about the reason why he wears a paper bag to hide his face, but she's not asking him because she wants him to talk about it when he's ready to do so.

Honestly, I don't know how Shu can go around in public wearing a paper bag on his head. It's even weirder since he's already a high school student so he's more like an adult already. I suppose in a way, it's a good thing that despite his issues, he still manages to live almost as normally has possible, except he wears a paper bag to hide his face.
