Pitch Perfect 2 is an entertaining movie about music and acapella groups. I love the musical arrangements, particularly the way several songs are mashed up or put together. I enjoyed Pitch Perfect, but I like that the sequel brought something more by having some original songs.

Although I liked the prequel, I was both wary and excited for any future installments. My fears weren't entirely unfounded as I was both happy and disappointed after watching Pitch Perfect 2.

I'm glad that the main characters are back in this movie because let's face it, a true franchise would always have familiar faces. Unfortunately, there isn't much story that utilized the recurring characters so most of them literally had nothing to do except appear onscreen.
