SYNOPSIS
Go Seung Ji is a patissier who has been an orphan since childhood and has a gruff and prickly personality that matches his nickname of 'Hedgehog'.
Seung Ji meets the easygoing and sweet-natured Pan Da Yang, better known as 'Panda', who hires him as the new patissier of Café Panda.
Together, the two work to make Café Panda a success while fending off competition from the Saint Honoré bakery franchise.
REVIEW
I didn't really have high expectations for Panda and Hedgehog but even then, I was still quite disappointed.
I didn't like Yoon Seung Ah's acting in the drama; she was trying to act cute and maybe childlike but it wasn't executed well so she came off as someone retarded. I was hoping she would watch the earlier episodes to evaluate her acting and she would dial her acting cute down to a more acceptable level but that didn't happen.
What I did find interesting is that a lot of actors from the drama 괜찮아, 아빠 딸 It's Okay, Daddy's Girl are also part of this drama's cast. It was quite fun to see the familiar faces, refer to their roles and relationships in the other drama, and then cross-refer that to their roles and relationships in this drama.
