SYNOPSIS
Lee So Young is a 34-year-old woman saddled with family debt and only has high school qualifications, but she dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Most of her problems are brought about by her immature and irresponsible younger sister Lee So Jin, a 25-year-old university graduate.

So Jin lands a part-time job in a fashion design company and So Young fills in for her sister. Through her skill, So Young was subsequently hired as a new designer. Everyone in the company mistakes her identity as that of her younger sister but she decides to keep up the ruse in order to keep her dream job.

Choi Jin Wook works as a marketing director in a fashion design company and although he is quite young, he is often mistaken as several years older because he looks very mature for his age.

REVIEW
It's nice that the story of Baby-Faced Beauty developed from when Lee So Young and Choi Jin Wook are just colleagues, then they became sort of good friends, and then they became romantically involved. It's just satisfying to be there with the characters as they grew as a person, and in their relationships.

I would just like to point out that I personally think it's a blessing to look younger that your real age. For those situations wherein you have to prove that you are actually old enough, you can always whip out your national identification card or passport.

Other than reaching the legal age as an adult (to drive a car, to vote in elections, and to enter into contracts), I think there doesn't seem to be much point to actually show that you are old enough. And although I acknowledge that with age comes maturity and knowledge, I don't think it's really necessary to look old and even older. I mean, if it's possible to still be mature in heart and mind, and be young in looks and physical disposition, why not?!

Having grown up in a culture that respects the elders but does not make age as a reference for one's rank or standing in society, the discussion on who's older and who's younger in the Korean setting is actually very intriguing. I think it's interesting that when meeting someone in Korea, people tend to ask each other about their year of birth in order to determine one's position relative to the other person.
