SYNOPSIS
The documentary takes a closer look at what brought about the financial meltdown.

REVIEW
Inside Job is a very interesting documentary about the global financial breakdown in 2008. It's a film I think everyone must watch, especially anyone who wants to be properly informed about international issues.

It is organized into different parts: (1) How We Got Here, (2) The Bubble (2001-2007), (3) The Crisis, (4) Accountability, and (5) Where Are We Now. The film presented all the relevant information such as describing how the American financial industry developed over time, and who are the key people responsible for bringing about the global financial crisis.

Inside Job also focused on financial derivatives, and explained how collateralized debt obligations (CDO) and credit default swaps work. However, I think I didn't have a problem with understanding these financial concepts because I have a background in business and economics.
