SYNOPSIS
Three years ago, Amemiya Hotaru has fallen in love with her manager Takano Seīchi, who also happens to be her landlord and housemate. Their strange living arrangements are a secret from most of their colleagues.
However, Hotaru was assigned to work on a company project in Hong Kong. She focused wholeheartedly on her work, to the point that she has neglected her personal relationships.
After finishing the special project in Hong Kong, Hotaru goes back to Tokyo. When she goes back to work at her former small but successful interior design company, she finds that both the people and the interactions at her workplace has changed a great deal since she has left.
Hotaru goes back to her old house, but her landlord and housemate Seīchi is furious with Hotaru for not having any personal contact with him whatsoever for three years. Seīchi, who also happens to her lover, can't believe that Hotaru expects everything to still be the same, even his relationship with her.
