SYNOPSIS
Kishi Keīchiro is a pathologist who claims that he makes diagnoses that are 100% accurate all the time. He speaks in a straightforward manner, and he's always confronting doctors who refuses to have their patients take necessary tests to determine their condition.
Morī Hisashi is an exceptional laboratory technician who works under Keīchiro. Hisashi is the only one who can deal with Keīchiro's standards, and he's doing the work of five people.
Miyazaki Chihiro used to work in the neurology division of the hospital, but after seeing Keīchiro confront other doctors for making wrong assumptions and for refusing to do their jobs property, she has decided to join the pathology division instead.
REVIEW
Fragile is an interesting drama about pathology and pathologists. It's fascinating how pathologists are also doctors, but they encounter prejudice for not being like other doctors who deal face-to-face with patients.
Kishi Keīchiro has a strong conviction that he does his work perfectly and that he makes 100% accurate diagnosis all the time. It's amazing that he doesn't make any room for him to make mistakes because his work deals with the life and death of people, but it's crazy to make such a declaration because human beings are not perfect and they make mistakes.
Anyway, Miyazaki Chihiro joined the pathology division because she wants to work with Keīchiro. It seems unbelievable that a person would change his profession just like that, but I suppose it makes sense for people to want to work with people they admire and trust. After all, studies have shown that employees leave their jobs because of the bosses or the people they work with.
