SYNOPSIS
パフューム Perfume - Sweet RefrainTsukiko's former colleagues Tannai Ichio, Shibayama Toshiya, Rachi Shinji, and Iwata Yoko are all assigned to work with her in the newly established UIU. Computer expert Hamanaka Ayano is the new addition to the group.
Katsūra Hiroto is a forensic expert who helps Tsukiko with her difficult cases. He has an obsessive-compulsive disorder and he is bothered when things are out of place. He has always liked Tsukiko and he constantly asks her to go on a date with him.
REVIEW
Toshi Densetsu no Onna 2 is a drama about urban legends; more specifically it is about solving crimes that may be related to urban legends. Police detective Otonashi Tsukiko intends to prove that the crimes are related to urban legends and in order to do so, she has to disprove other possible explanations for the crimes. Incidentally, she does end up solving the crimes but not as she has intended.
I think I prefer the work situation in the drama prequel 都市伝説の女 Toshi Densetsu no Onna because in that drama, it was only Tsukiko who was working on cases in order to prove that urban legends are real. Because of the work situation in this drama sequel, a group of people are assigned to look at crimes from the urban legends angle. It doesn't seem particularly realistic.
Tsukiko is an interesting character, not because she loves urban legends but because she's actually quite clever. She's much smarter than what she appears to be; definitely much more than most people give her credit for. She's also sly enough to use her physical attributes and feminine wiles to make people around her to be more cooperative with her.
