Li En Zhen entered into an arranged marriage with Wang Jun Jie to save her father's company. A few minutes before her wedding ceremony, En Zhen overhears someone's conversation, which makes her think twice about her upcoming marriage.
Spontaneously deciding that she wants a different life to what she would probably have if she pushed through with the arranged marriage, En Zhen runs away.
Happy-go-lucky He Li Fang coincidentally meets his older brother He Lin Wei at an elegant resort, and he runs away from the area to avoid him.
Li Fang accidentally runs over En Zhen as he backs the van out of the parking lot. He rushes over to her to check if she's okay, and En Zhen asks him to give her a ride out of the resort.
Second Life is an entertaining drama to watch, except it really is quite long with around 70 episodes. I wish it had around ten to twenty episodes instead, but I'm a proponent of shorter dramas so take that with a grain of salt.
I love Cyndi Wang's styling in this production, and that's probably what got me interested in it in the first place. She has a flattering hair style and the hair color is gorgeous, except in some instances wherein it seemed strange but I think that is caused by bad lighting.
I like the idea of having a second life, or rather a second chance at life to do what we really want to do, and to be with someone who makes us happy.
