SYNOPSIS
Kang Baek Ho realizes that he is in love with his best friend, Ham Yi Seul, on the day of her wedding to another man. He travels back in time to various events of their lives hoping to change the outcome of their relationship. Will Baek Ho be able to change the course of their future?

REVIEW
I can't get behind the lead characters Kang Baek Ho and Ham Yi Seul. Their story seemed interesting because they are childhood friends and childhood sweethearts but unfortunately, they are both afraid to confess their true feelings to each other and they are both wary of ruining their close friendship.

Sometimes, we don't know how important another person is in our life until the time comes wherein we lose that person but Baek Ho really took things too far. Although he is aware of his real feelings for Yi Seul, he did not do anything even when Yi Seul began dating another guy. His character is fortunate because he has a sort of godfather in the drama who helped him change things but it is not really practical to expect fantastical beings to suddenly appear and help us solve our issues in real life.

I'm also disappointed in Yi Seul because she could have confessed her feelings first to Baek Ho. Although it's possible that she really did have feelings for Kwon Jin Won, the fact that she's troubled should have been a red flag for her and she should have taken the time to assess her situation and try to figure out who it is she really loves and want to be with for the rest of her life.

I feel bad for Jin Won because he deserves better. I feel bad for people who are so invested in their relationships but their partners are just settling in said relationships because no one really deserves such treatment and no one wants to be in such a pitiful position.

I think the best part of Operation Proposal is the story between Song Chan Wook and Jo Jin Joo. I really like the characters and it's nice how their story slowly but surely progressed over the course of the drama.

Although it's interesting to try to figure out what you want to change in the past so you can change the present and maybe even the future, it's probably more effective if you would focus instead on changing the present.
