SYNOPSIS
Devoted to becoming an international lawyer, Ayukawa Wakaba is full of ambition. Her hard work pays off when she lands a job at an international law firm. She

To Wakaba's disappointment, the first prestigious assignment that is given to her is to babysit the boss' 5-year old daughter, Sakuragawa Hinata. Wakaba loathes kids and nursing, but unwillingly takes on the job as she is fixated on wealth and success.

One day when she goes to a preschool to pick up Hinata, she meets a man named Yamada Sota. Sota is a man without higher education, wealth, or a future goal; someone that Wakaba absolutely cannot stand, the complete opposite of her ideals.

Once again, contrary to her will, she ends up looking after Hinata and a few other kids along with Sota. Despite being exhausted from all the first-time experiences in child care, Wakaba begins to question what is truly important to her.

REVIEW
Zenkai Girl is an interesting drama about a woman who has lived a poverty-stricken life but has managed to get above it by working hard and by studying well.

Ayukawa Wakaba is a very inspirational character because she grew up with nothing but she was able to become something through hard work and sheer determination. She's a very straightforward character in that she always follows through with her choices and decisions.

However, she found out later on, that it's better to be flexible and adaptable. Sometimes, people can't help but make mistakes in the choices they make and instead of stubbornly moving forward along the wrong path, it's better to stop and change ways as soon as these people realize they have made a mistake.

Even after Wakaba realized her mistakes, she's so stubborn that she sticks to her earlier decisions and choices. She is fortunate that someone else involved in the decisions and choices she made was noble enough to make changes that would affect both their lives. Otherwise, she and other people will become miserable and it would already be too late.

What I didn't like about Wakaba is she's very vocal about her view and judgments. Although I think it's nice that a person knows her stand on many issues, it is not always necessary to speak up about it. I mean, if you are asked about it or if you are in a situation where you have to make your own stand, of course, you should always do as you must. Otherwise, I think it's best to be as politically correct as possible.

She is also very forthcoming about about her opinions on men and about what kind of guy she's after. I would think that she should be smart enough to keep her thoughts to herself because in reality, everyone is actually judgmental. Besides, making judgments of other people is not really something someone in their right mind would like to call attention to herself.

Yamada Sota's many shortcomings are not cancelled out by the fact that he is handsome and a nice person. He wouldn't have gotten his act together if he has not met Wakaba and he has not fallen in love with her. It's somewhat scary to think that major changes in one's future are entirely dependent on meeting some other person.
