SYNOPSIS

胡宇崴 Hú Yǔ Wǎi, 謝沛恩 Xiè Pèi Ēn -單邊耳機 Dān Biān Ěrjī (Unilateral Headset)Hayate the Combat Butler is a cheesy drama. Everything about it, from the scenarios to the characters to the dialogues, seem as if it came straight out of the manga pages it was based on.
I wish the production staff exerted some effort to adapt the content for television. It literally seemed as if pages by pages of the manga are directly transferred to frames by frames of the drama.
I think Hayate the Combat Butler is best viewed when you are distracted by something else, such as scanning magazines or playing some basic puzzle games. It is not a good idea to watch the production with your undivided attention because if you do, its faults are much more evident.
