SYNOPSIS
Boney M. - SunnyYang Guang lives with her grandmother, who fondly calls her Yōkō, in a small island near Okinawa, Japan. Her parents are always scamming other people of their money, and these victims always come after Yang Guang and her grandmother for compensation.
One of her parents' victims threaten to send Yang Guang to jail for her parents' misdeeds. Not wanting to go to jail, Yang Guang agrees to work as a maid to a rich family in Taiwan for a year so she can pay back the money stolen by her parents.
Yang Guang ends up working at the house of young businessman Di Ya Xin, who is the general manager of the cosmetics company founded by his father. Ya Xin is determined to make the family corporation the most successful manufacturer of beauty products in the world.

陳乃榮 Chén Nǎi Róng - 不能告訴我 Bùnéng Gàosù Wǒ (Can You Tell Me?)I found Sunshine Angel somewhat boring, mainly because the lead actors had no chemistry at all. I think it's a drama you'll watch only if you like any of the actors in the cast, but even then, you'll still struggle with finishing the whole thing.
I don't know why I was even looking forward to the romance in the drama, really. I have watched one of Wu Zun's dramas so I already know his limitations as an actor and his lack of chemistry with his co-stars.
It's just that Rainie Yang is an exceptionally charismatic actress, and I thought if there's anyone who can manage to have chemistry with an acting robot, maybe she can do it. Alas, I was wrong and she couldn't, although I commend her for trying.
Anyway, I think it is always more difficult for intelligent and successful people like Di Ya Xin to face failures, because they are not people who are supposed to fail. Perhaps they take failures more personally, that they usually have a harder time trying to cope with unfortunate times and challenging circumstances.
