SYNOPSIS
SP or Security Police have the duty to protect. It is a group of professional bodyguards that safeguard important people, even if it means sacrificing their own lives at times.

Inoue Kaoru works as a security police and he is exceptionally good at his job. Together with his team, he tries to protect his charges to the best of his ability and he intends to keep his charges alive as long as he is responsible for their safety.

Kaoru's team is assigned to help provide security for VIPs at a charity event. Kaoru's team follows and arrests a potential terrorist in the subway station. The chase is covered by the media.

Kaoru's team is tasked to provide security to Secretary General Date Kunio. After work later that night, there is a state of emergency and Kaoru's team has to escort the Chief Cabinet Secretary to the House. A series of attacks are executed against Kaoru and his colleagues.

Inoue Kaoru's suspicions regarding his boss Ogata Soichiro engaging in nefarious activities are proven right in SP Yabō Hen.

I was actually hoping that Kaoru's boss Ogata Soichiro is a double agent who is double-crossing the bad guys so he is essentially in the right side of the law. But when Kaoru's boss is recruiting Kaoru to join his secret organization, he is saying his speech with real conviction.

Ogata Soichiro: Everything is inevitable. Our subconscious led everything to fall into place... It's up to you to think however you want. But in the end, you followed your own instincts to meet me here again.
Inoue Kaoru: Even if that's so, what are you trying to say?
Ogata Soichiro: Use your instincts and talent for the better good. Let's change the rotten system of this country. For the sake of not creating any more kids like you twenty years ago.
Inoue Kaoru: To change the system, what are you exactly proposing to do?
Ogata Soichiro: To wake the sleeping consciousness of the citizens.
Inoue Kaoru: By way of violence?
Ogata Soichiro: We will make them open up their eyes. And let them see a never-before-seen reality that we create.
Inoue Kaoru: Are you going to control people's heart with fear?
Ogata Soichiro: We are only leading them in the right direction. If the destination is correct, the methods can be compromised.
Inoue Kaoru: Are you saying that for the sake of the destination, there is no need to choose the method to do it?
Ogata Soichiro: Exactly.

I think both the method and the destination or outcome are important. It is necessary to do things properly: choose the correct method in arriving at the right outcome.
