SYNOPSIS
Three years after Asamoto Soshi and Izawa Rīko left for Paris, they are called back by Soshi's older brother Asamoto Masashi because of a new project restaurant of the family corporation. Soshi will be the general project manager and he recommended Rīko, a newly accomplished pastry chef, as the one in-charge for product development.
On the day that Rīko came back to Tokyo, she encounters Tenjo Night. Well, he looks like Night but he acts as if he's meeting Rīko for the first time and he doesn't remember anything that happened three years ago...
REVIEW
Zettai Kareshi is an interesting drama about a robot built to become the ideal boyfriend who then starts feeling real emotions. I suppose in a way, it's about what it means to be human, and what it means to love someone.
I think I'm one of the minority, but I always wanted and I always expected that Izawa Rīko will be with Asamoto Soshi in the end. He's a great guy, but I suppose I have to admit that the only thing he's got going for him (when compared to his rival) is that he's a person.
Tenjo Night may be the ideal boyfriend and all, but he's still a robot. I don't know, I just can't root for a person and a robot to be together. Just, no.
