REVIEW
Fat Head is a documentary about how a person's diet can affect his weight and health. It raised a lot of interesting issues about food and eating.

The first part criticized Super Size Me, a documentary about the adverse effects of a fast food diet on good health and general well-being. It pointed out that the fast food industry is only fulfilling the society's need or want.

I like how Fat Head raised the importance of personal choice and personal responsibility. We are thinking beings, and we really ought to put our brains to good use. We are presented with a lot of food choices, and we are entitled to make a choice for ourselves, and we should be responsible for our own decisions.

The second part talked about some widely accepted truths, and even the possible reasons why these misconceptions became common knowledge. It stated that the so-called experts can sometimes get things wrong for various reasons.

I like how Fat Head indicated that we should always analyze things, and that we should be aware that experts are not infallible beings. I think it's important to question things, and not just always accept things as is. And, of course, this also applies to the film and its ideas.

For instance, Tom Naughton stated that it is acceptable that people gain around ten pounds if they are a decade older. Why should that be the case, though? If someone has stopped growing and he is at his ideal weight, shouldn't he maintain that weight at all ages?

In the last part, Tom shared that he's currently on an unprocessed whole food diet, where he can eat meat, eggs, seafood, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and full-fat dairy. He also strongly suggested that the paleo diet is the best diet.
