SYNOPSIS
जब वी मेट Jab We Met - Nagada NagadaAditya Kashyap is at his worst: he lost his father and he is now responsible for keeping the family business running, his mother humiliated his family by having an affair and running away with her lover, and his former girlfriend got married to another man. Burdened by his situation, he boards a train while lost in his thoughts.
जब वी मेट Jab We Met - Mauja Hi Mauja
On board the train, Aditya meets Geet Dhillon, a talkative and feisty woman on her way to her hometown of Bathinda in Punjab. Geet talks a mile a minute about herself and everything about her life, not really caring if her audience is listening to her or not.
Aditya, irritated with Geet's endless ramblings, gets off at a desolate train station. Worried that the train will leave him, Geet runs after Aditya to inform him that the train is leaving.
Unfortunately, the train goes on its way, leaving Geet behind without money and her luggage. Frustrated, Geet states that it is Aditya's fault that she got left behind and she demands that Aditya escort her back home.

जब वी मेट Jab We Met - Aao Milo ChaloJab We Met is one of the most engaging movies I've watched. There's a lot of things happening that will keep you on your toes, so to speak. I find the plot quite refreshing; and the story line as a whole is in a league of its own.

However, the script has some loopholes, and there are areas that do not really make sense if you try to analyze it in a deeper level. I don't understand why Aditya Kashyap was so burdened by the actions of (or what happens to) other people. Although these people are important to him, he still cannot control their actions or what happens to them. Of course, he will be affected one way or another, but I would have thought that he is rational enough to accept that he has no control over other people and their actions.
The main premise of Jab We Met is that the two lead characters have very different personalities; Aditya is serious and very hard to please while Geet Dhillon is happy-go-lucky and lives life in the moment. Something happens during the course of the film, and then it seemed that the two lead characters have exchanged personalities.
Although this particular premise seems romantic on paper, it seems strange that a person can change his personality to the extreme opposite. I think it's very likely for a serious person to be more spontaneous (and for a happy-go-lucky person to be more serious) but in increments and small doses rather than a complete 180-degree change.
Jab We Met has a great soundtrack. With other Bollywood movies, I usually like just one or two songs but in this movie, I like most of the songs. I prefer upbeat and fun songs though, with great drum beats, and this movie has about three songs that I classify as such. I think most people can't help but groove along to the beats and dance.
